The Consul General's visit in York
Consul General Krisztina Kátai-Nagy visited York, where she met with Lord Mayor Keith Orrell. The discussion focused on twin city and cultural cooperation. The Mayor’s Office holds the city of York’s ceremonial sword, which was donated to Henry V of England by Hungarian King Sigismund in 1416.

Meeting with the Mayor of Blackpool
Consul General Krisztina Kátai-Nagy visited Blackpool, where she met with Lord Mayor discussing possibilities of cooperation. The Consul General has expressed Hungary’s gratefulness to the town, which gave shelter to many Hungarians who had have to fled the country after the Revolution of 1956 was crushed.
