Consul General Krisztina Kátai-Nagy visited York, where she met with Lord Mayor Keith Orrell. The discussion focused on twin city and cultural  cooperation. The Mayor’s Office holds the city of York’s ceremonial sword, which was donated to Henry V of England by Hungarian King Sigismund in 1416.

 

 

The Consul General also met with the representatives of the University of York and discussed cooperation between the University and Hungraian partner Universities.
