The Hungarian city of Veszprém, together with the Bakony-Balaton region will be the European Capital of Culture in 2023.
An exciting year of cultural programmes will kick off on 21-22 January 2023, on the Day of Hungarian Culture, which will also mark the 200th anniversary of the Hungarian National Anthem. Next year, Veszprém and Bakony-Balaton Region will host a wide variety of cultural programmes and activities. Discover the programme or the city of Veszprém and Central Europe’s largest lake!
